“ I went yesterday (30.1.25) for breakfast and coffee with a friend. I cannot belive this place is a cafe. It is really lovely in there. The service was really good and the staff are kind. Dogs are allowed with I love so I will definitely take my dog next time. The food was really good. I recommend the pancakes. I also enjoyed the match latte. ”
“ I absolutely loved my lunch here! The food was beautiful—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The cafe has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the experience even better. Can't wait to visit again! ”
“ Came here today as going past, it was absolutely lovely inside. I had a latte and my parents had a pot of tea for two. Both were very nice and brought to the table. The cakes looked very nice and we hopefully will get time to stop by and try them another time. They do breakfast and sandwiches, soup and scones too. Loved the heart on the latte, it was very cute. ”
“ All round great experience and gorgeous breakfast. Staff were very accommodating on a busy morning ”
“ Popped in today with my mom. Have drove passed lots of times so we decided to pay a visit and we weren’t disappointed. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lady taking our order was very friendly and she told me all about the carrot and lentil soup, which was on the menu today it came with sourdough toast and croutons my mom said how lovely it was. I had the mushrooms on toast which was in a creamy cheese sauce. So tasty there was a lot to get through. I had my eye on all the delicious cakes but we were so full so maybe next time because we will definitely be back. We went on a weekday and it was extremely busy but we managed to get a table for two no problem. Parking was very busy but I managed to park on the rabbit run side. We used to go here when our girls were little when it was the Royal Oak so it was lovely to see how it is being used now. I’ve told the hubby we will be going soon I didn’t take any photos of the food I was too busy eating it but I took this photo of the beautiful fireplace as you walk in ”
“ I kept looking at this place when I drove past but the car park was always full. I managed to get there today and took my mom. It's really small inside, and I notice a lot of the tables were already booked. On entry we were greeted immediately and taken to a table for two. We had scones with jam and cream and a coffee. I also took 4 cakes away for the family. I have to say, the cakes looked amazing and feedback from family were that they tasted amazing too. I tried the lemon and blueberry cake, fresh moist and worth the price tag. 4 take away cakes, I think was 14.50. The breakfast menu looked good but I did notice they only did smoked bacon which I don't like. I will definitely go again. Very popular though, so may book ahead. ”
“ Stopped here for some lunch with a friend and her little girl, the staff were welcoming and friendly, getting a high chair for us and showing us to a table with more space. We both had the Christmas sandwich, which was incredible! Lovely atmosphere, and will be visiting again, to try the cakes, as they also looked amazing, but had no room left after the sandwich! ”
“ Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning, was very busy but the staff handled it well and the service was very efficient. Full English was superb, the highlight being the sausage and the sourdough which were both out of this world, my partner had smashed avo on sourdough which she said was also incredible. Coffee was very nice and biscoff Blondie was so good. Will 100 percent come here again when passing ”
